League Of Giants

Terms and Conditions for Participants

Thanks for checking out Utah’s scavenger hunt for champion trees! We’re excited you’re playing and hope that you have fun, see new things, and learn a little about our state’s natural history.

We want everyone to be safe and respectful while participating. To help, please read and observe the following rules:

  1. Respect private property. Do not trespass to visit a tree on private property or travel to a tree through private property without the owner’s express permission.

  2. Respect the trees. Champion trees have lived for a long time and we want them to be here for a while. Do not damage the trees in any way. If you see a problem with one of the trees, please let the organizers know and we will talk to a professional arborist or the owner.

  3. Play Safe. There are a lot of hazards outside. Extreme heat, venomous snakes, and fast-moving vehicles to name a few. Pay attention to your surroundings when visiting trees or doing scavenger hunt activities and be aware of the conditions that day.

  4. Take responsibility. You are responsible for your own safety and well-being while playing. While we’re happy to help with answering questions about the scavenger hunt, the organizers are not able to monitor every situation. We trust you.

That’s it. By playing the League of Giants scavenger hunt, you agree to follow these rules as an outstanding member of your community.

Any questions can be directed to hello@treegiants.org.

Good luck!

Sincerely,

The League of Giants team
